Eleven planes and four valleys on a house still surrounded by pallets. We flew the framing first, ordered to the measurement and had two bundles left over.

New houses are usually measured from drawings. Drawings are usually wrong by a bundle or two in every ten squares.

What the flight showed

Eleven planes, four valleys and a framing crew that had built one dormer eight inches wider than drawn. We measured what was there.

What we did

Ice barrier the full width of every valley, architectural shingle across the lot, and a crossing valley woven rather than cut. Two bundles were left over.
